You've seen those little boxes showing a players score on the Munzee forums or websites (like mine shown on the right) and want to have one to show off your score?

Look no further - here is the code you need to place in your forum profile signature;

Found this link someone put up on the GB Facebook group, http://dfx.at/munzee, the website helps you create a file to save and then upload to your GPS device all the Munzee in your area of search.

Just enter your search type, the output you require (GPX, GPI, JSON, Google Maps), your username (optional, unless you do not want to include your own or captured munzee), and if you want to include Special Munzee. Once you have filled the necessary fields, just click 'Go'. The file will be created and you just need to save to your computer when prompted. You can even create a Bookmark to the website with all your details entered to save time when you update again.

Upload to your GPS device and away you go. I uploaded mine to c:geo, but it said there was no cache, so I'm trying out different GPS apps on Android to see which is the best for Munzee hunting.

Many thanks to DFX! Brilliant!

The Android app has been updated today to version 0.73, make sure you keep your android mobile up-to-date with the latest version.

The latest version will hopefully help with capturing/deploying with some Motorola mobiles where the app keeps crashing.

Are you having problems installing the Munzee Android app on your device?
Keep getting a memory error when installing an Android app?

I was having a problem installing several programs onto my device including the Munzee app a few weeks back, and after a few minutes search on the internet came across a solution that has worked for me.

Follow these simple steps to get those app's onto your device;
  1. Go into the settings of your device and select 'Manage Applications', find the 'Market' app and click on it.
  2. Remove any data and updates for the 'Market' app.
  3. Return to the 'Home' screen and click on 'Market', or wherever you may have it.
  4. Agree to the T&C's, then download and install the app's you want.

You should find that they will now install without any errors being chucked back at you.

Have you ever wanted notification of new deployments in your area? Well, you can now!

Thanks to the German Munzee fraternity, someone has come up with a script that will help you obtain the information you need.

All you need to do is;
  1. Go to this webpage Createzee enter your username and the radius (km) you wish to watch.
  2. On the map, move the pin to where you want to watch new deployments.
  3. Zoom in/out until you have the area you want cover.
  4. Do not tick the 'Map' box.
  5. Click 'Go!'.
  6. Copy the web address given at the bottom (or click to view the deployments in the area you asked for).
  7. Next you will need to register at www.followthatpage.com, if you do not have an account.
  8. Copy and paste the web address you were provided with from the Createzee page, for the page you wish to watch.
  9. Set the interval for an email to be sent, 1 hour to 24 hours. Click 'Next'.
  10. Enter a description, then into the Line Filter box 'worldwide'.
  11. Click 'Save'.
  12. Wait for the emails to arrive!

A BIG 'Thank you' to the all those who helped provide the notification script and webpage.

Keep up-to-date with the Munzee app for Android and iPhone, especially if you are having problems using the app. The new updated version may solve the problem, as well as providing you with more features to play around with.

The iPhone app has been updated with some extra 'eye candy' and extra functionality added.

Download now from the iTunes App Store now.
