  • Unable to find a Munzee?
  • Munzee is damaged?

  • How do I notify an owner of a problem?
  • Or do you just want to leave a general comment?

Sometimes when you are out and about capturing you may come across a Munzee you are unable to scan, cannot find or it is damaged. What do you do to notify the owner? Follow these easy steps to help owners keep their Munzee in play;

Step 1

On the detail screen of the Munzee you want to leave a message, tap the 'Journal' tab at the top.

This will show you any other comments left by other players. This can be helpful if you are unable to find the Munzee, as others may have had the same problem.

In the right top corner is a '+', tap this and the journal entry screen will appear.

Type your message in the top half. Once you have finished typing your message, tap the speech bubble next to 'Entry Type', a drop down menu will appear with a choice of 'types' of message.to leave. Select the one you need by scrolling, once you lift your finger off the screen, that last choice will be chosen. The 'General Message' is the default selection.

Step 4

If you select 'I found it!', a 5 star rating will appear next to the 'Entry type', tap this to select a star rating you may wish to leave. 5  stars is the default selection.

Check you are happy with your choice of 'Entry Type' and your message, make any changes necessary, then tap the 'Submit' button on the right below the message window. Your message will then be saved to the server and a pop-up will say that a journal entry has been made and the contents emailed to the owner/creator. 

Your Glorious Message

Your message will now show at the top of the Journal screen in all it's glory!

Not happy with your message for some reason, then you can delete it, just swipe from right to left over the star rating and tap delete. Be aware that any message you delete will have been emailed already to the owner/creator.

Any Journal entry can also be made/deleted from your computer/laptop at home, just log in to the Munzee website, go to your captured list and select the Munzee you want.
